We are lucky in Maids Moreton to have several areas of open space.

The largest, and most open, space can be found at our Playing Fields where we have active bases for our Scouts, Cricket Club and Rugby Club. When not in use by the clubs, there is a large area in which to play. The playing fields are also an important area for local wildlife, bordering open spaces on 3 sides.

Due to the extreme heat we have experienced, the safety surface on the play equipment in the Maids Moreton Play Area has degraded beyond repair.

We are in the process of applying for grant aid to replace the play area in the near future and hope to re-open this play ground by the end of the year if possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Scotts Lane is our small, but significant, conservation area. Managed by a team of dedicated volunteers this area provides an excellent habitat for wildlife and is enjoyed by many in the village.
