No Meeting early May

There is no planned meeting on the 1st Wednesday of May as there are elections being held on May 6th. After this we will be holding our Annual Meeting of the Parish Council on May 19th to accept the Declaration of Acceptance of Office for those councillors who are elected. For Maids Moreton, we had 7 candidates who put themselves forward and 7 seats, so the seats were uncontested and all 7 candidates were accepted to the office of Councillor of Maids Moreton. The schedule of payments and Clerks report for April, which would normally be presented at the meeting held on the 1st Wednesday of the month are attached here for information. All payments on the schedule have been authorised for payment, except the invoice for the bramble clearance at the playing fields where it is felt additional work is needed to finish the works.
